Driver Age
The minimum driver age is 21 years.
The rental company does not apply any "Young driver" surcharge.
Driving Licence
All drivers must present their original driving licence, issued at least 24 months prior and valid beyond the rental period.
If the national licence is not written in Latin characters (e.g. Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc.) or has been issued in a non-EU country without international agreements with the country of rental, a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) is required. The driver must present the IDP together with the original national licence.
IMPORTANT: It is the renter’s responsibility to ensure they possess the necessary documents to drive in countries other than their country of residence.
The licence must be original, undamaged, legible, and valid.
Digital driving licences will NOT be accepted.
ID card/Passport
A valid identity card is required for all citizens of the European Union.
For all citizens who are NOT members of the European Union, it is necessary to present, in addition to an identity document, a valid passport.
All documents must be original, undamaged, legible, and valid.
Digital documents will NOT be accepted.
Included Insurance Coverages
[Full Risk Insurance]
The "Full Risk" coverage releases the driver from financial liability in the event of damage, theft, or fire, as specified in the rental agreement.
Coverage applies only under proper vehicle use and does not cover damages caused by unauthorised drivers, driving on unpaved roads, intoxication or drug use, incorrect refuelling, or dangerous driving in violation of traffic laws.
In case of theft of the rented vehicle, if the keys are not returned, the customer will remain fully liable for compensating the total value of the vehicle.
[TPL] Third Party Liability
This insurance covers damage caused to third parties as a result of an accident for which the driver is responsible, excluding the rental vehicle itself.
Roadside Assistance
Roadside assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Taxes Included in the Rates
Value Added Tax (VAT).
Airport/railway taxes.
Fuel Policy
[Same Fuel Level]
The vehicle is supplied with a full or partially full tank and must be returned with the same fuel level.
At the time of vehicle collection, a fuel deposit will be required as a guarantee. This amount will be refunded at the end of the rental if the vehicle is returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up. Otherwise, the customer will be charged for the missing litres, calculated according to the rates set by the rental company.
Mileage
The rate includes unlimited mileage.
Territorial Limits
The use of the vehicle is restricted to the territory of the Canary Islands.
Payment Methods
At the time of vehicle collection, a credit card in the main driver’s name must be presented for the management of the fuel deposit and the payment of the rental balance.
[CREDIT CARDS]
Accepted credit cards at the rental desk: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
The credit card must have embossed numbers and details; a PIN code will also be required.
[CASH]
The following payment methods are NOT accepted: Diners Club credit cards; Revolving cards; debit cards (ex. Mastercard Debit, Maestro, Visa Debit, V-Pay); Bancomat cards (ex. PagoBancomat); Prepaid/rechargeable and "Electron" cards of any type (ex. Viabuy, PayPal, Green Dot, Postepay); cards linked to a digital bank account (e.g. N26, Revolut); cards with the indication "Electronic use only"; virtual credit/debit cards; credit/debit cards in digital format; cards saved on mobile devices (smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, etc.); Visa Dankort, Discover, JCB, Cirrus, and China UnionPay cards; NON-NOMINATIVE cards; cards NOT in the name of the main driver; checks.
For security reasons, all information on the credit card must be clearly legible and undamaged, allowing the rental company to verify its authenticity.
Always ensure that the credit card used has sufficient funds at the time of rental.
If a valid physical credit card is not presented or if the card lacks sufficient funds, the rental desk operator may refuse to release the vehicle. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
Deposit Amount
At the time of vehicle collection, a security deposit relating to the fuel will be required.
No additional hold or charge will be made as a security deposit other than that for fuel; only the number of the credit card in the main driver’s name will be recorded.

• The conditions relating to accepted credit cards, required features, and any limitations are specified in the section "Payment Methods".
The credit card may be used by the rental company "Cicar" to charge any additional costs at the end of the rental period, such as damages not covered by insurance, fines for traffic or parking violations, missing fuel, or any other expenses resulting from the main driver’s use of the vehicle.
Vehicle Collection
The vehicle must be collected within the time agreed at the time of booking; after this time, the rental centre cannot guarantee the vehicle’s availability at the rental station, and the booking will be considered void without prior notice.
Please always inform the rental centre in case of delay.
Vehicle Return
The rented vehicle must be returned on the date and time specified in the rental agreement; in case of delay, the rental centre will apply an additional charge.
No refund will be granted if the rental ends before the date stated in the rental agreement.
If the vehicle is returned to a rental centre different from the one of collection, an additional charge will apply. This operation must be previously authorised by "Cicar".
Vehicles are delivered clean inside and out and must be returned in the same condition. Otherwise, proportional cleaning costs will be charged.
For rentals with vehicle return outside opening hours, the service is available only at rental locations equipped with a key-box. The customer must enquire, at the time of collection, about the service’s operating procedures. The contract will be closed by a rental company representative upon reopening, and the customer remains responsible for the vehicle until it is officially checked in.
Vehicle Type
The vehicle shown and the listed models are the most common ones used by our rental partners.
We cannot guarantee that the make or model of the rented vehicle will be the same as the one displayed on our website.
Voucher
Upon arrival at the rental office, it is necessary to present the voucher.
Attention: TiNoleggio/TinoRent accepts no responsibility for any surcharges if, at the time of vehicle collection, the voucher is not presented to the rental desk agent. In such cases, no refund of the amount prepaid will be issued.
Accessories and Extras
Accessories and extras must be requested at the time of booking or communicated directly to the rental centre.
The rental company "Cicar" provides, free of charge and upon request, child seats and booster seats when required, as well as one additional driver.
All additional accessories and special equipment are subject to availability, which can only be confirmed by the rental centre at the time of vehicle collection.
Out of Hours Service
The vehicle collection and/or return service outside opening hours is available only with prior approval from the rental company and, if confirmed, does not incur any additional charge.
In case of delay, please contact the rental centre "Cicar" as soon as possible to allow the staff to organise and, where possible, wait for your arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation of the reservation if you cancel within 01:15 of the 13/04/2026. Free cancellation allows the refund of the amount paid during the online booking process, on the same card used.
An administrative penalty of 53.27 EUR will be applied where the cancellation is carried out after 01:15 of 13/04/2026 and in any case within 01:15 of the 15/04/2026. Any surplus will be refunded directly into the card used during the online booking process.
A penalty called 'No Show / Lost Rental Charge' equal to the entire rental cost (124.29 EUR) will be applied where cancellation is made after 01:15 of 15/04/2026 or, in any case, where the vehicle is not picked up at the agreed date and time or where the vehicle was not delivered because the rental conditions stated in the terms and conditions are not met.
