Driver age
The minumum age of the driver is 19 years old.
For those drivers between 19 and 24 years old, a « Young driver » extra charge equal to €15.00 a day will be applied.
The "Young Driver" fee are not included in the rental price and must be paid in local currency at the rental office.
The following vehicles require a specific minimum age:
• J3A, J4, M1, P, PA groups (example: Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Maserati Grecale, Toyota Proace, Mercedes-Benz Vito, Mercedes-Benz V-Class or similar): minimum age of 25 years.
The maximum age allowed of the driver is 80 years old.
Driving licence
All drivers must present a valid original driving licence, issued at least 12 months prior to the rental start date and valid beyond the rental period.
If the national driving licence is not written in Latin characters (e.g. Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc.) or has been issued in a non-EU country without international agreements with the country where the rental takes place, a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) is required. The driver must present the IDP together with the original national driving licence.
IMPORTANT: It is the renter’s responsibility to ensure that they have the necessary documentation to drive in countries other than their country of residence.
The driving licence must be original, in good condition, legible and valid.
Digital driving licences will NOT be accepted.
ID card/Passport
A valid ID card for all citizens of the European Union countries will be required.
For all citizens of non-European Union countries, a valid passport will also be required in addition to the ID card.
All documents must be original, in good condition, clearly legible and valid for at least 6 months beyond the end of the rental period.
Identity documents (ID card or passport) must be physically presented; digital versions will NOT be accepted.
All documents provided (ID card, passport and driving licence) must be issued by the same country.
Inclusive Insurances
[TPL] Third-party liability insurance
This insurance covers the damages to third parties following an accident caused by the driver, excluding the rented car itself.
[CDW] Collision Damage Waiver
This is a reduction of the customer’s liability that partially covers the damage caused to the rented vehicle. Instead of the total cost, the driver will be responsible only for the first fraction, called deductible.
The reduction of the customer’s liability will be applied up to a maximum chargeable amount specified in the rental agreement.
This reduction does not include damage to: glass, roof, underbody, wheels, interior and damage caused by acts of vandalism.
[TP] Theft/Fire Protection
This is a reduction of the customer’s liability in the event of total/partial theft or fire up to a maximum chargeable amount specified in the rental agreement.
In the event of theft of the rented vehicle, if the vehicle keys are not returned, the customer will be fully liable for reimbursement of the total value of the vehicle.
This reduction does not include the loss of personal assets.
Road Assistance
Road assistance is guaranteed 24/7.
In case road assistance is needed, the cost related to this will be charged to the customer himself.
Taxes Included in the Price
Value Added Tax (VAT).
Airport/Railway Station Taxes.
Fuel Policy
[Same to same]
The vehicle is provided with a certain fuel level (full or partial) and must be returned with the same level.
If the vehicle is returned with a lower fuel level, the missing fuel will be charged at the rental company’s applicable rate, which may be higher than local market prices, in addition to a refuelling service fee.
Mileage
The rate includes unlimited mileage.
Territorial restrictions
Cross-border travel is permitted subject to payment of the « Cross Border » surcharge, the cost of which varies depending on the destination country.
For the following countries, a surcharge of €100.00 per rental will apply:

For the following countries, a surcharge of €150.00 per rental applies to all vehicles:
• Austria
• Hungary
• Netherlands
If you intend to travel abroad, you must inform the « Differental » desk staff before collecting the vehicle. Otherwise, penalties may apply.
Transporting the vehicle on ferries is NOT permitted.
Payment methods
At the time of vehicle pick-up, a credit card in the name of the main driver must be presented for the security deposit and rental payment.
[ATTENTION]
• The main driver must present the card in physical format; digital or virtual versions are not accepted.
• Cards must be issued by a traditional banking institution; cards issued by neobanks or non-bank financial institutions are not accepted.
• Cards with dual functionality (debit and credit) are not accepted, as they are considered debit cards.
• The credit card must be issued in the same country as the Customer’s country of residence.
[CREDIT cards]
Accepted credit cards at the rental desk: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club.
The credit card must be in the name of the main driver, with the first and last name embossed on the front, along with the 16-digit card number. It must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the rental; a PIN code will be required at pick-up.
The following payment methods are NOT accepted: Revolving cards; debit cards (e.g. Mastercard Debit, Maestro, Visa Debit, V-Pay); Bancomat cards (e.g. PagoBancomat); prepaid or rechargeable cards, including "Electron" cards (e.g. Viabuy, PayPal, Green Dot, Postepay); cards issued by neobanks or non-bank institutions (e.g. N26, Revolut); cards marked "Electronic use only"; virtual cards or cards stored on mobile devices; Visa Dankort, Discover, JCB, Cirrus and China UnionPay; non-personalised cards or cards not in the name of the driver; cash and/or cheques.
For security reasons, all card details must be clearly legible and not damaged, in order to allow verification.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that sufficient funds are available on the card. The deposit amount is indicated below and may vary depending on the vehicle, the driver’s age, the rental duration and the pick-up location.
If a valid card is not presented or if sufficient funds are not available, the rental provider may refuse to hand over the vehicle; in such cases, no refund will be issued.
Deposit Amount
When collecting the vehicle, a deposit will be required as a guarantee.
This amount can only be managed through a credit card in the name of the main driver.
[NOTICE]
• The conditions regarding accepted credit cards, the required features, and any restrictions are specified in the "Payment Methods" section.
A value of €700.00 plus eventual extras or services purchased and not prepaid online will be blocked from the credit card.
This amount will be unblocked at the end of the car rental, where all the conditions are met.
The applicable excess, in case of damage or theft of the vehicle, will be up to €1500.00 for damage and up to €2800.00 for theft.
Pick-up
The vehicle must be collected within the time agreed at the time of booking, with a maximum grace period of 59 minutes; after this period, the rental station may no longer guarantee the availability of the vehicle and the booking will be considered cancelled without prior notice.
Please make sure to inform the rental station in the event of a delay.
Drop-off
The rented vehicle must be returned by the date and time specified in the rental agreement. A grace period of 59 minutes beyond the agreed return time is allowed. If this grace period is exceeded, an additional charge will be applied by the car rental company.
No refund is provided in case the car is returned before the date agreed in the car rental contract.
In case the drop-off is made in a different car rental station from the pick up, a "One way" extra charge will be applied. This operation must be authorised beforehand by « Differental ».
The vehicles are delivered externally and internally clean and they must be returned in the same condition. Otherwise the costs related to the washing of the vehicle will be proportionally charged.
For rentals with vehicle return outside opening hours, this service is available exclusively at rental locations equipped with a key-box. The customer must inquire at the time of pickup about the service’s usage conditions. The rental agreement will be closed by a company representative upon the reopening of the branch, and the customer remains responsible for the vehicle until it has been officially taken over by the representative.
Vehicle Group
The vehicle in the image and the models on the list are the most commonly used by our car rental partners.
We cannot guarantee that brand and model of the vehicle will be the same of the vehicle viewed on our website.
Voucher
At the arrival at the car rental office, you will be asked to show the voucher.
Attention: TinoRent takes no responsability for any surcharges in the case, at the moment of the pick up, the voucher is not shown to the car rental agent. In these cases no refund of the advance payment will be provided.
Additional Accessories and Extras
Additional accessories and extras must be requested at the time of booking or communicated to the rental centre. These are not included in the rental price and must be paid for at the time of collection.
The prices for these accessories are managed directly by the rental company, which reserves the right to modify them without prior notice.
Additional accessories and any special equipment are subject to availability, which can only be guaranteed by the rental centre at the time of collection.
Out-of-hours pick-up and drop-off
The vehicle pick-up and drop-off service outside the branch opening hours is not available. Vehicle collection and return must therefore take place exclusively during the opening hours of the rental office.
In the event of an expected arrival after the branch closing time, the customer is required to contact the « Differental » rental office promptly. Any exceptions will be assessed solely at the discretion of the branch and cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation of the booking if it occurs before 13:15 on 09/07/2026. Free cancellation includes the refund of the amount paid during online booking, on the same card used.
An administrative penalty of 94.56 EUR will be applied where the cancellation is carried out after 13:15 of 09/07/2026 and in any case within 13:15 of the 11/07/2026. Any surplus will be refunded directly into the card used during the online booking process.
A penalty called 'Lost Rental Charge' equal to the entire rental cost (220.64 EUR) will be applied where cancellation is made after 13:15 of 11/07/2026 or, in any case, where the vehicle is not picked up at the agreed date and time or where the vehicle was not delivered because the rental conditions stated in the terms and conditions are not met.
