Kalabrija je regija u južnoj Italiji. Glavni grad Kalabrije je Catanzaro. Regionalno vijeće Kalabrije ima sjedište u Palazzo Campanella u gradu Reggio Calabria. Regija je na sjeveru omeđena regijom Basilicata, na zapadu Tirenskim morem, a na istoku Jonskim morem. Mesinski tjesnac odvaja ga od otoka Sicilije. Regija se prostire na 15.080 km2 i ima nešto manje od 2 milijuna stanovnika. Demonim Kalabrije je katastrofalan na talijanskom, a kalabrijski na engleskom. U antici se ime Kalabrija odnosilo, ne kao u moderno doba na nožni prst, već na vrh pete Italije, od Tarentuma prema jugu, regije danas poznate kao Salento.
