Rafting on the Drava River is a unique experience of navigation where you can admire the unspoiled nature and discover an ancient tradition.

The tradition starts immediately, as soon as you arrive near the raft "Hlodovec", a real boat made mostly of wood, where you have the first greeting that is not what we know, but a real "dobrodosli" (welcome). During the navigation through the most beautiful part of the Drava valley, the captain tells interesting anecdotes about the life of the men who transported wood in this way to far away areas. He puts his passengers' skills to the test by letting them steer the raft and, like a good host, does not fail to provide something typical of the area to taste. 

Once disembarked, you cannot miss a visit to the master of the art of candle making and the production of honey cakes. A family tradition since 1757. A visit to the beautiful gallery where you can discover how they are produced, not to mention the tasting of these honey delicacies.

There is no better place to learn about traditional Carinthian values than on a farm where four generations have lived together. Take a ride on the farm's hunting train to see fallow deer and mouflon living in their natural habitat. The farmer will show life and work on the farm. In the wine cellar, which is more than 150 years old, they have arranged the tasting of their delicacies while listening to funny stories and narratives of the life of this family. You can also buy local specialties.
