MARIBORSKO POHORJE ski resort
Mariborsko Pohorje, together with Areh, becomes the largest winter sports center in Slovenia. More than 40 kilometers of ski slopes (easy, intermediate, and difficult) and more than 15 ski lifts await you in Pohorje. In good winter conditions, Mariborsko Pohorje and the Areh ski center are connected by ski slopes, otherwise, a ski bus shuttles between them. In winter, Mariborsko Pohorje boasts more than seven kilometers of illuminated ski slopes, earning its reputation as the ski resort with the longest night skiing even across the Slovenian border. In addition to day and night skiing, it offers cross-country skiing, tobogganing, alpine skiing, panoramic snowmobile rides, and other winter pleasures. The Maribor Snow Stadium is also the traditional venue for the annual Women's Alpine Skiing World Cup (Golden Fox).
