The minimum age is 21 years for car groups A, B and C, and 23 years for car groups D to P.

The same age conditions apply to additional drivers.

All drivers must have held a full, valid driving licence for at least 2 years at the start of the rental, for all car groups.

All drivers must present a full, valid original driving licence held for at least 2 years at the start of the rental.

A valid International Driving Permit (IDP) is required where the national driving licence is not written in Latin characters. The IDP must be presented together with the original national driving licence.

The licence must be original, undamaged, clearly legible and valid. Digital driving licences will NOT be accepted.

You must bring the payment card used to make the booking. The card must be a credit card in the lead driver's name.

Photo ID featuring a recognisable photo taken in the last 10 years is required: passport, driving licence if it contains a photo, national identity card or other government-issued identification.

You may also need to bring proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement. If the driving licence shows the address, it is accepted as proof of address.

Documents must be presented in physical format; digital versions will NOT be accepted.

[Damage Waiver and Theft Protection]

Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the renter's liability for damage to the vehicle to the excess stated on the rental agreement. Theft Protection (TP) reduces your liability in the event of theft of the vehicle.

The excess is stated on the rental agreement and in the booking confirmation email.

CDW is available at all stations, but only as a counter-sell product purchased at the rental desk.

Damage Waiver is ineffective if the renter or the second driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Roadside assistance for vehicle breakdowns is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Should roadside assistance be required due to a fault caused by the driver, the related cost will be charged to the customer.

Value added tax (VAT) at 21%.

Airport and station surcharges where applicable.

An airport surcharge of € 10,00 (plus tax) applies at Podgorica airport (TGD) and Tivat airport (TIV).

The vehicle is normally supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount of fuel it had at pick-up, as shown on the factory-installed fuel gauge.

If the customer does not refuel the vehicle to the same level, the missing fuel is charged at the local Avis rate, which is typically above the local filling station price.

A refuelling charge of € 50,00 (plus tax) is applied in addition to the cost of the missing fuel.

A Fuel Up Front option is available: a one-off fee covering a full tank, based on the manufacturer's stated tank capacity, plus the cost of refuelling. Unused fuel is not refunded.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, the rate includes unlimited mileage.

Where a mileage allowance applies it is confirmed during booking and stated on the rental agreement and in the booking confirmation email.

For travel outside Montenegro special conditions apply. Entry into some countries with an Avis vehicle is not allowed.

Should you intend to drive the vehicle outside the national territory, you must inform "AVIS" staff before collecting the vehicle.

Each rental driver must present a valid credit card in their own name.

We accept: Mastercard credit cards (not debit and not prepaid), Visa credit cards (not debit and not prepaid), and Avis-issued charge cards.

We do NOT accept: debit cards and prepaid cards, even where they carry the Visa or Mastercard logo.

Rentals cannot be paid in cash. Cash is accepted only at the time the vehicle is returned.

A security deposit is held against the lead driver's credit card for the duration of the rental, as a pre-authorisation.

If the price includes CDW and TP, the deposit is from a minimum of € 1.000,00 to a maximum of € 3.000,00.

If the price does NOT include CDW and TP, the deposit is from a minimum of € 12.100,00 to a maximum of € 36.300,00.

The deposit is a guarantee held in the event of damage to or theft of the vehicle, or of parking fines. It is released automatically if there is no theft, damage or parking fine during the rental period.

A valid credit card in the lead driver's name must be presented at the rental desk in order to pre-authorise or charge the deposit.

If a valid credit card is not presented, if there are insufficient funds available on it, or if it is not in the lead driver's name, the rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these cases no sum already paid will be refunded.

Damage to the vehicle will be charged by the rental centre upon return, and an administrative damage fee will be added to the amount retained from the excess.

In the event of fines, the driver will be liable for an administrative fee in addition to the amount of the penalty.

If the reservation is not cancelled before the agreed pick-up date and time, or if the vehicle is not collected within 24 hours of the agreed time, a no-show fee of € 50,00 (plus tax) is charged.

The vehicle must be collected by the time agreed at the time of booking; after that time the rental centre will not guarantee its availability at the rental station.

Please always notify the rental centre in the event of a delay.

If the vehicle is not collected within 24 hours of the agreed time, the reservation is treated as a no-show.

The rented vehicle must be returned by the day and time stated in the rental agreement. If you return the vehicle late without prior agreement, an extra day's rental plus a late return fee of € 18,15 (VAT included) is charged for each day or part of a day you are late.

Returning the vehicle to a location other than the pick-up one is permitted and incurs a one-way fee, which is included in the total rental price when the one-way is requested at booking.

One-way fees between Montenegrin stations, plus tax: from TGD to TIV € 12,00, to TB9 € 12,00, to BV2 € 12,00, to BOA € 20,00, to UL4 € 40,00.

From TIV to TGD € 12,00, to TB9 € 12,00, to BV2 € 12,00, to BOA € 20,00, to UL4 € 40,00.

From TB9 to TGD € 12,00, to TIV € 12,00, to BV2 € 12,00, to BOA € 20,00, to UL4 € 40,00.

One-way rentals outside Montenegro are available on request only.

Vehicles are supplied clean inside and outside and must be returned in the same condition. Otherwise, cleaning costs will be charged proportionally.

The vehicle shown and the models listed are the most common ones used by our rental partners.

We cannot guarantee that the make or model of the rented vehicle will be the same as the vehicle shown on our website.

The voucher must be presented on arrival at the rental office, together with a credit card in the main driver's name.

Please note: TiNoleggio/TinoRent accepts no liability for any surcharges should the voucher not be presented to the rental desk agent when collecting the vehicle. In such cases no refund of the advance payment is due.

Additional accessories and extras must be requested at the time of booking or notified to the rental centre. They are not included in the rental price and must be paid at collection.

Additional drivers must meet the same age and driving licence conditions as the main driver. A daily surcharge applies for each additional driver, up to a maximum per rental.

Accessory prices are managed directly by the rental company, which reserves the right to change them without notice.

Additional accessories and any special equipment are subject to availability, which can only be guaranteed by the rental centre where the vehicle is collected.

Vehicle pick-up and drop-off outside the branch opening hours is available only with the rental company's prior approval.

Meet Late Arrival is available on request. A charge of € 40,00 (plus tax) applies for reservations outside office hours.

Delivery and collection services are available within the city at € 20,00 (plus tax) each way during office hours and € 60,00 (plus tax) each way outside office hours; outside the city at € 40,00 (plus tax) each way during office hours and € 80,00 (plus tax) each way outside office hours.

If you expect to arrive after the branch closing time, you must contact the "AVIS" rental centre promptly. Any exceptions are at the sole discretion of the branch and cannot be guaranteed.

Free cancellation of the booking if it occurs before 20:15 on 13/10/2026. Free cancellation includes the refund of the amount paid during online booking, on the same card used.

An administrative penalty of 37.54 EUR will be applied where the cancellation is carried out after 20:15 of 13/10/2026 and in any case within 20:15 of the 15/10/2026. Any surplus will be refunded directly into the card used during the online booking process.

A penalty called 'Lost Rental Charge' equal to the entire rental cost (62.56 EUR) will be applied where cancellation is made after 20:15 of 15/10/2026 or, in any case, where the vehicle is not picked up at the agreed date and time or where the vehicle was not delivered because the rental conditions stated in the terms and conditions are not met.
